using the poly line tool in 123D you can design a gear by selecting the polyline tool. Select a starting point by clicking on the mouse and then drag the line out. You will be able to enter the numeric values for degrees you would like the slope of the gear and the length of the line you are drawing.
1. First, select the top view of the grid and select the poly line tool. Then select a point on the grid. You can input the value for the angle. Go ahead and select 170 degrees and then select a length of 10 inches. Do NOT click enter, or you will have to select the poly line tool again and go select the destination spot where you left off
2. From the second space click again and move a 90 degree straight line to the length of your liking. After selecting the distance you desire, you may click again and enter a value of 10 degrees this time, because 10+170 equals
